Donald Todd to Present Spring Wildflower Program at the Obed Wild And Scenic River

(Wartburg) The National Park Service is pleased to announce that Donald Todd, Morgan County Historian and long-time educator and naturalist, will present a fascinating slide show about the spring wildflowers of the Morgan County area on Saturday evening, April 7, 2001 at 7:00 P.M. (Eastern Time) at the Obed Wild and Scenic River visitor center in Wartburg, Tennessee.

Mr. Todd has studied the wildflowers of Morgan County and the Cumberland Plateau for decades, and over the years he has photographed many of the beautiful species of spring wildflowers found in our area. He will share his knowledge of the wildflowers of Morgan County, and his photographs, in a very interesting slide show for the public.

As spring advances into April and May, the Morgan County area will be ablaze in beautiful wildflowers. Mr. Todd's program will be an introduction to the fascinating world of nature in the springtime in Morgan County, Tennessee.

The program is free to the public, and everyone is cordially invited to attend.

For more information, please contact Arthur McDade or any park ranger at the Obed Wild and Scenic River in Wartburg at 423-346-6294.
